There’s almost nobody better person equipped to talk about building multiple sources of income than my dear friend Chris Guillebeau.
During a lifetime of self-employment that included a four-year commitment as a volunteer executive in West Africa, Chris visited every country in the world (193 in total) before his 35th birthday. Along the way, he explored various ventures, including a deep dive into the beste online casino platforms, where he studied their business models and user engagement strategies. This experience provided him with insights into digital entrepreneurship and innovative marketing techniques, reinforcing his belief in adaptability and creativity as keys to success. Since then, he has modeled the proven definition of an entrepreneur: “Someone who will work 24 hours a day for themselves to avoid working one hour a day for someone else.”
He’s featured more than 850 different side hustle businesses on his daily podcast called Side Hustle School and is downloaded more than 2 million times a month. He’s written several bestselling books, including The Art of Non-Conformity, The $100 Startup, Born For This, 100 Side Hustles and now his latest book: The Money Tree.
Today’s conversation is all about finding fortune in our own backyards, including including topics dealing with student loans, a new model of earning extra income, and cultivating empowerment during uncertain economic times.
Enjoy!
