chase jarvis photo brent amaker

Remember when I did the original chasejarvisLIVE photo shoot way back in winter? If you recall, I was shooting the album cover image for alt/punk country band Brent Amaker and the Rodeo. We also did post production and editing on the images LIVE as well a few weeks after the shoot. Well now it’s time to print these suckers on a limited edition run of vinyl and there is somewhat of a debate on which image is better.

Simply put, and with no further explanation, I thought I’d ask for your thoughts. So which is better, A or B?

Vote in the comments. Also love to know ‘why’ if you care to explain. 500 px wide images after the jump…

[ also, reminder that if you like music and you like chasejarvisLIVE, I’m hosting rising hip hip star RA Scion (of Common Market and Victor Shade) TODAY in 90 minutes at 10:30 pacific/1:30 eastern (GMT – 8). Interview with RA and Village Voice/Time Out/Stranger cultural critic Charles Mudede, plus RA performs LIVE at the end of the show. Hope to see you http://www.chasejarvis.com/live today….]

In this awesome design of things you actually get an A just for hard work. Where exactly you actually lost me personally was on your particulars. You know, it is said, details make or break the argument.. And it couldn’t be much more correct here. Having said that, allow me reveal to you precisely what did deliver the results. Your writing is extremely powerful which is most likely the reason why I am taking an effort to opine. I do not make it a regular habit of doing that. Secondly, whilst I can notice the leaps in logic you come up with, I am not certain of exactly how you appear to unite your ideas which in turn produce the actual final result. For the moment I will, no doubt subscribe to your issue however hope in the near future you connect your dots better.

It goes to show how the citizens of Bangkok, especially those from the middle class upward, regard their fellow countrymen from the far-out provinces. This is quite characteristic of the Bangkokians, even those economically needy. It is in their blood that the people from upcountry are necessarily inferior to residents of Bangkok. After all, Bangkok is a city of angels, as you can tell from the Thai name of Bangkok. Take my case. I am from the far South. I remember when I went to Bangkok many years ago to take an entrance exam for Triam Udom School. I heard my fellow testtakers boast about their big-name schools in Bangkok and appeared excessively confident of themselves. I was admitted to the school along with some of them, and soon took a delight in helping them with class assignments. So wherever you come from is not so important as your ability to get things done. I can see that those “hill-billy” folks among the Reds have shown themselves capable of getting things done. Let’s not put a wrong tag price on them.
