creative LIVE HOLIDAY SPECIAL OFFER [THIS IS A SCORE!]

Friends. My team who run the day to day show over at creativeLIVE have put together an amazing deal for the holidays on photography and video “weekend workshops” from your favorite photography instructors – some of the best in the world: Vince Laforet, Zack Arias, Jasmine Star, David DuChemin, Jeremy Cowart and Tamara Lackey. Single courses are all offered $129 (instead of $149), but the really smokin deal is this: all 6 courses for $399 (that 55% off. whoa.).

They tell me that special offer ends soon. Please support this cool concept. If you’ve thought about buying a class or want an entire year of photography education for one amazing price, me thinks this is for you. More info is here at creativeLIVE.com.

    Chase baby,

Get over yourself. Kelby is the shit and you need to fall in line and contribute what you have to Kelby Training. Is it your ego preventing you from doing that? Things have GOT to be tough in the commercial advertising photography world. A marketing department can find a really good local or smash together some stock photos, and while it may be not all that, it will be good enough. I mean, you are branching into putting together an App which has to be dead ended by now, another pish posh photo book, the Chase LIVE crap-a-rooni, and whatever else. Is it a yard sale next???

I would love to buy these, but unfortunately, I plunked down much more for a small box of precious metal and gemstones rather than instructional videos and a super-telephoto….

WOW. This is an incredible and groundbreaking offer from creativeLIVE! I have been lucky enough to volunteer as an in-person chat host at creativeLIVE for 5 of these 6 master workshops. I feel like I won the lottery & truly was in the right place at the right time. I can honestly say that I have learned more in the past 6 months through these 6 creativeLIVE workshops than I have in 20 years of photographing. Not to mention all of the other creativeLIVE classes. I have seen comments from participants in photography school saying that they have learned more in a single CL workshop than at photo school. These courses are the real deal. Tens of thousands of dollars worth of education for $399. How do they do it? Well, it takes each and every one of you who can afford to buy these classes to keep creativeLIVE going into 2011 and beyond. Say YES to the democratization of creative education.

Are you a frickin’ moron? Tens of 1000’s of dollars worth of education. Paaaleeeeze. It’s a frickin’ Flip video talking about stuff Kelby Video charges peanuts for and there you get tons more. If you want to make creative education democratic then GIVE it away or charge low monthly fees as does Lynda.com or Kelby. But Chase has his ego to feed and is tryin’ to do his own independent thing. Well screw that. I’m putting my money in a few places dedicated to education, not funding Chase’s shortcomings in commercial photography. Not me mo fo.

Great deal for those who can afford it! I wish I didn’t have a day job so I could watch em live instead of trying to figure out how I am going to afford them… well I guess it’s mac and cheese for a while!
