---- REMINDER: Saying you want to go in the comments isn't a ticket to the event - you must RSVP online at the link in the post. Thx! --- Calling all NYC/tri-state friends – It’s been a while since we got together in person, so let’s do it. We're more than halfway through the collaborative Dasein: Invitation to Hang gallery installation here in NYC (have you contributed yet?) and it's been such a dramatic success... read more ›

I'm never one to drop a heavy post on you headed into the weekend. So this one is light. So light in fact that it floats in the air like your morning toast and coffee and orange juice you're about to eat. You may have caught this a couple weeks ago, but I was too buried to share it. So here 'tis. Consider this while you're grabbing brunch over the next two days. The above... read more ›

Looking at more than 1000 images a day is a real treat. And pulling out 100 to 200 each day for printing is even cooler. It's sort of like dipping my hand in a river at any one time, and being able to pull out a slice of life. Here's four of the 150 I pulled out today. Props to their respective creators, listed below. A broad spectrum - but that's what I love. Lemme... read more ›

Ten formats in all, from top of the line Nikons, to old Polaroids, even some... read more ›

Hey all, Erik here with a quick guest post about a subject that’s raised a lively debate in our studio. Everyone on our crew has long been shooting with Polaroids, rangefinders, micro 4/3 cameras adapted to accept vintage lenses...even processing digital images to look like they came out of an old dusty camera. Surveying the landscape, it’s clear this tide has been rising for a while now and we’re not the only ones attached to... read more ›

You knew it was coming. A bazillion of you have been asking and now you are among the first to know: the Polaroid GL10 Mobile Instant Printer that was announced back at CES in January is now available for pre-order, but more importantly, it will hit some actual retail shelves first thing this morning in limited quantities. The GL10 (I've been fondly calling it the Polaprinter) was... read more ›
