I was in Paris last week. Part work, but mostly fun. Eating, drinking, being merry, and of course, snapping photos my iPhone–as I do everyday–with no end goal beyond staying creatively engaged.
I was just now kicking through photos from the trip and stumbled on a couple of snapshots I thought were interesting for various reasons. I’ve posted stuff like this before and was really excited by the resulting discussion, so I figured I’d throw it out there again… These are of course just snapshots, but even snapshots have merit. AND these photos are VERY different from one another…. So, simply put, I thought I’d ask for your thoughts, which is better, A or B? And why?
Vote in the comments. Also love to know ‘why’ if you care to explain. 500 px wide images after the jump…

Here’s Photo A:

Here’s Photo B:
Which is better and why?

I definitely go picture A. I love the point of view, it’s interesting. Lines that form people and pavementalso add to it.
And of course, the unexpected: the man lying on the ground adds a question, which makes the picture contain a story, whatever story.
[B] The Geometry pulls me in….abstract.
A
To me, image A is sad-people walk by the man and (what appears to be a child) on the ground with seeming indifference.
Whereas image B is a much more positive. Like Mike above said, it’s going out of the darkness into the light. But taking that further, I see the ferris wheel in the distance as a vehicle for lifting the driver of the car UP out of his situation and into another dimension, resetting his perspectice.
I choose image B.
While Photo A is creativly interesting, it doesn’t illicit good feelings for me,kinda creepy. I diffinitely like photo B better ,It takes me to a black and white foriegn film, with maybe some espionage going on.
