    Hey Chase,

Congrats on the event and the amount of entries in such a short period of time! It’s really freakin’ generous of you to run a giveaway like this.

Whelp, let’s get down to why I’m writing this. In the past year and a half I’ve completely changed my outlook on life and the way it can be lived. It’s all because of people like you (and a few local mentors). I’ve spent this time realizing what needs to be done: build a muse, supplement income and to actually live my life. Dreamlines have been made, muses developed and traction achieved. I’m on the cusp of automation and liberation.

I would like to attend Secrets of Silicon Valley for two reasons. 1.) To change my daily “buzz words” such as Tim Ferriss, Reid Hoffman, Guy Kawasaki, etc. into in-person experiences. 2.) Learn and implement the secrets that every class will provide into my everyday life and to the customers of my muse.

Thanks in advance for your consideration,
    Tyler Goelz

TIM FERRISS – WHY I WANT O JOIN YOU AT THIS EVENT:

I’ve implemented what I’ve learned from your blog with precision, in ONE DAY copying your post on how you launched 4HB I made more than I thought possible with the launch of AMRAP NUTRITION – REFUEL BARS.

I want to join you at this event because I feel that at this moment in time I have the ability, reach and resources to change the health of millions of athletes around the world… while promoting the paleo diet to our non-athlete friend.

Think of the butterfly effect of improving the health of just one person … now times that by one-million – eventually we will be there yet this event will very likely help us accelerate our mission! With the knowledge gained at this event, I would be able to better implement and execute what I’m currently doing.

I trust your judgement – have an awesome day and thank you for your consideration 🙂

    Ron Slavick

What’s often hard for art professors to teach young students is that being a successful artist has always implied being entrepreneurial (even Ansel Adams produced work for corporate clients). I’m a designer and filmmaker in West Texas, and I’ve fully embraced the notion that innovation and business are intrinsically linked to art-making. I’ve had some success as a sort of intrapreneur, working from within existing organizations on projects I’m proud of, but I don’t have a lot of artist-entrepreneurs around me to learn from, and I would soak up this trip like a sponge.

CreativeLIVE is actually hugely responsible for launching me on the path of filmmaking. Gale Tattersall’s HDDSLR Filmmaking workshop gave me the nuts and bolts I needed to supplement the inner drive I already had. This year I got to realize that filmmaking interest in a documentary I directed about the Maker Movement (Watch it free at wearemakers.org). I’m a believer that everyone is creative and we all have stories to tell, and this weekend I want to fuel that spark in me for passion and innovation so I can take it to others. Even if I don’t make the trip up to meet you guys, just know I hold you all in the highest regard and will be glued to the screen this weekend to learn from you all. Keep being great.

    Nathan

For your consideration: one guinea pig willing to participate in any demonstrations or crazy experiments during any one of the sessions.

Background: 37 year old cubicle slave, emerging entrepreneur, amateur photographer and fun loving guy.

Yes, it would be amazing to be around all these brilliant people, hear their talks, meet them and I’m willing to give something back for the chance to do so.

    Thanks for reading.
