Are you getting in your own way?
This week I’m diving into two questions from the community. The first question involves knowing how to choose which projects to commit to, and how to stay focused even when new opportunities present themselves. My top level advice:
- Identify what YOU care about and what you want to stand for
- Don’t spend too much time worrying what other people are doing
- Experiment and play
- Find an accounta-bili-buddy
- Learn through action
- Execute on ideas
The second question we get into the art of storytelling. Whether we like it or not, when we’re telling stories, there is a piece of ourselves that is present. Even if the goal is to be an unbiased 3rd party, how you tell the story will impact how it’s percieved. Embrace your own unique perspective. It can be the difference between good and great storytelling.
Enjoy!
