Please note I HAVE NOT touched one of these cameras, and NO I didn’t shoot the campaign. and I haven’t yet spent the appropriate time with the camera to tell you any gory details. I’m assuming I’ll be able to chat more soon.
So.. I (we) knew this was coming, but rather than me spouting off about having played with the system (I can’t), or telling you what your feelings about this system should be (I won’t), I’m turning the tables on you.

I hope that when the camera is out in the market it’d be bang for our bucks since you can see few differences of its prior model, D3S.
All of the “normal” hype about the D4 is – well, normal. However, if you dig into the nuts-and-bolts about this camera you’ll probably see what is REALLY important. Nikon’s new baby raises the bar, not only for a “killer” focusing routine, but the ability to focus in very, very low light. They have added the ability to detect a face and keep the focus on that face – every as it moves around the frame – important? If you don’t see the HUGE advantage, then you don’t shoot weddings, portraits or fashion! Maybe now D3s will become affordable.

super excited for the order to arrive. hopefully in a month.
was waiting for D800 so I can start playing with video and keeping full frame sensor. I think I will just go with D4. I am not pro, but I like to be able to get better pictures of my cats.
on a serious note, I love high ISO and not needing to use flash most of the time with indoor shots. hopefully whitebalance is better with D4, spend less time on computer too.
