Happy Monday. Today, retouching is out, rawness is in.

Not meant to be a religious image – it’s Scott hitting the water in bellyflop, part of a series of snapshots human body contortions. Hopefully that explains the chopped off arm.

Admittedly has a certain unintended familiarity – part of it that makes you want to see the other arm. Which is actually why I like it – it’s not giving you what you expect.

I’d’ve loved to have been there for the prep.
“Whaddya want me to do Chase?”
“A massive belly flop into the pool”
      “OK grea… wait? What?”.

      Your guys must love you.

If that were a planned shot would you have included the right hand as well since it can be interpreted symbolically?

Nice shot, I think it would be better if you didnt cut off the left arm.

This is great, Chase. Timeless type of image. I like the symbolism, like Mikelangelo pointed out. Very energetic and peaceful at the same time.

    Well done.
