  2. I can’t wait to see it as part of the series. I’ll weigh in on the arm chopped off and say that, if it was in the frame, the image would be too symmetrical and I think the visual weight of the body/dark mass to the bright white spot is good this way and would also be thrown off by a composition framed as it is now, but with the complete arm in the frame. Of course we are assuming Scott indeed has two hands…

    I like the contrast and the lighting. Specially the sun.

    But I think that it would work better in color.

    I miss the blue color of the water.

  4. I also got a religious feel from it…kind of hit some areas similar to images relating to christianity. I know it was not intentional tho. I think this photo was from the video of you and the crew jumping into a pool. I remember that video. I dont think this is the best photo from that shoot tho. We want to see more 🙂

  5. Looks like an old PHOTOGRAVURE!!!!!
    I think this photo gets everyone to feel emotions due to the different level of symbolisms: men, cross, water, sun, etc.
    I can even say, to some extend, It looks like some gravure from William Blake…
    This is my 2 cents!
