I would love to attend because I need to surround myself with people who have done what I desire to do. I want to make a difference not only in my life, but in other peoples lives by utilizing my talents and gifts to create change. I am excited to learn and gain knowledge that I could only attain through actually meeting the people whom I would like to learn from and build up an amazing network of people who could take me to the level that I need to get to. I love to travel, and I really enjoy watching Chase Jarvis on you tube as well as his podcast because the guests he brings are so amazing to learn from, and Chase is an inspiration to me because he is also a self taught photographer/entrepreneur/tv sensation with a mind for learning. It would really be a dream come true to attend, and I mean that sincerly.
My sister moved to Seattle about 1.5 yrs ago, I told her about CL and she was fortunate enough to attend workshops, volunteer with CL and become mates with some of you. She talks about you guys everytime we watch a workshop here in Sydney together, of the experience of learning in studio, the caliber of the CL team and how grateful she is for the time spent learning. I can hop on a plane and be there in less than 24 hours? pretty sweet experience mate.
You should pick me, because I think i have all the peaces to a sucsesfull business .. And yet I am still stuck at home with Mom.

After 14 years in the banking/insurance industry, I recently left it. I’ve spent the past few months dumping my old photog equipment and replacing it with stuff I can afford now…new body, new lenses, flashes, stands, etc. None if it is top of the line, but all good bodies and glass.
I have always had a passion for photography, but until recently, it has mostly been expressed through “I’ll get to it when I can”. At this point in my life, I decided it’s time move it to the next step. I have new equipment, a new Facebook page, a Flickr page, my first few commissioned jobs, and soon a website. I have spent weeks and months reading and watching YouTube videos. I am learning new techniques, new equipment. I am finding myself enthralled with so many great photographers, not the least of which is you, Chase. Photography is not all about the camera or the picture, but what drives you to be there…why do you want that photo.
I find your philosophies to be inspirational. I study the guests you have on your show to see what got them there. I look behind the eyes to see where their passion lies. This could not be a more perfect time for me looking at this opportunity. I stay up late, and get up early so I have more time to read and watch videos to learn. I made a list of events and things I want to do this summer to make sure I keep shooting. Then I look for different ways to shoot it. Your vision is inspirational, and would be honored to be there in person.
