Find Your Thing And Do That Thing…

Find your thing and do that thing better than anybody else does that thing even if you think
that thing has no value because I promise you that it does. And I promise you that other people will see this value too.

[I’ll continue to post these little notes I scribble out–little journal notes–if you like dig em. Please let me know here, G+ or Twitter. I write them using Amazing Type-writer app for iPhone. Happy holidays.]

This is the best advice ever given, really, along with that one of Steve Jobs

“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don’t settle.” – Steve Jobs

Wow, I just found this blog. Awesome,

I just spent the last 3 days reading your entire archive.

The commitment to being the best at your craft is fanatically inspiring,

This post is right on the money. It’s great to see that people at the top of their game deserve to be there.

Chase, you are an inspiration to many photographers and this post is a perfect example why. If only more people would seek “their thing” rather than wander aimlessly. Though I have to say that doing something better than everyone else is no easy task–even if you’re passionate about what you do.

That sounds very appealing. But how do you know that to be universally true? It is just your opinion, right?
