Client: “How come all the photos I took have the heads cut off?”
You: “Hmm, Did you look though the view finder when you took them?”
Client: “I don’t know what that is. Can’t you just move the picture up so I can see their heads? I mean they’re digital pictures?”

Clients come in all shapes, sizes and levels of experience in every line of work. Embedded this here due to its relevance. If you have clients at all–or might be one yourself–check out Clients From Hell for an occasional laugh. This one sent to me but a bunch of peeps (including Taylor at Hipsters With Kids). Have other laughs? Share them below or at CFH. Have a great weekend. Take lots of pictures.
nice!
Haha.. nice one! 😀
I had it this week a client came in for a poster, I do a mock up, minimalist in design says everything and is simple.
client: Can you put this writing in?
Me: Well it breaks a lot of design rules, amount of wording and a lack of space, plus itakes more than five seconds to read
client: Just do it
Me: fine (done it for them)
Client: Fantastic awesome!
A day later
Client boss: I am ringing to ask if you can change the design you came up with to have less information, I asked ******** why you had done it with all that wording on and he said that you came up with it. I thought you was a designer.
Me: fine, just call me direct if you need any work doing in the future, as for ******* he requires schooling in the words honesty and integrity.
client boss: i dont understand?
me: he is lying as he wanted that info on it
Client boss: well your the designer you figure it out.
Funny thing is they paid for the work on time, we have two types of client pricklies and fluffies.
BS. A professional is not someone who keeps his mouth shut when a client lies, or an underling of said client lies. I have no tolerance for that and frankly, I believe it’s unprofessional to sweep it under the carpet. The more that kind of behavior is tolerated, accepted, allowed to pass, or overlooked, the more it continues to endure.
Sorry. I don’t come from that school. I’d rather work with REAL professionals who own up to their mistakes.
hahahahahahahaha
That’s awesome. That would make the photography world very easy if digital files had that feature 🙂
