Lots of updating and housecleaning going on around here lately, the most fun being the launch of our new site here at www.chasejarvis.com.
As such, I wanted to invite you to poke around our new digs. Lots of new photos–twenty something new galleries, there’s finally a video page, and…well..a lot more. And we’re continuing to update and transform the site into a smooth machine over the coming week. That said, your feedback is incredibly valuable to us. We’re listening – so thanks in advance. We know there’s still a lot to work on, especially with the blog and the mobile version. (There’s still flash in there, but, we’re evolving and will continue to…). At any rate please hit up whatever needs addressing in the comments. Or if it’s time sensitive and something’s busted, ping @dartanyon.
Huge thanks to my crew for the hard work – especially amidst all the other work we are lucky enough to be buried in. And we’d be remiss to not thank the great team at Livebooks.com – Matt, Dale, Adam, and Jericho. Thanks a mil for the collaborative process in creating our new site.
I’ll be on the Twit.tv Photo show at 1:30PM today talking about the new site, and photography in general. Tune in.
And again, thank YOU for visiting.

Nice. But frankly, the horizontal bar adds pain to navigate through the site. Wish the page width was wide enough to avoid the horizontal bar.
The thumbnails in the Photo section (http://www.chasejarvis.com/#mi=1&pt=0&pi=2&p=-1&a=-1&at=0) load veeery slow…. Nice design indeed!
Hi Chase,
Please note this is a personal opinion only based on comparing what I liked about your previous site.
Sorry, not liking the changes at all. I think it has gone backwards from your previous website. The typewritter font is making the site look amateurish whilst the other site looked slick and smooth. I preferred the format of the front page photo scroll on the previous site to, it was easier to see the images and had more of a slick look to it. Same goes for the photo and projects pages, it actually looks a little dull in comparison to your personal creativity.
I am also a personal fan of having a blog page as scrolling, plus having the post show up, at least with part of the post in view with the read more to open it up fully on a separate page.
Sorry, as I know someone has put some work into this, But, I do not like this site at all, your previous one was much better. I don’t think this site really represents the quality your work or your creativity.
Matt
Lovin the new site, much more in it and so easy to look around. Nice job
Chase – it’s good to see the fresh new look and you have gotten some very helpful feedback. I was thinking you should have your buddy Zack Arias do his website critique for fun..?
