They don’t really work for me. Nice but they don’t grab me. Also I do find it easier to connect when looking at non-commercial.
Well, while I do find the shots inspiring as a photog, quite frankly they make me want to go for a run.

These are definitely more grungy and heavy than most of your work I’ve seen and have a sense of real life.
If you did use lights, you masked it well. I just looks like an overcast day shot wide open. Which is great!
