Stevens Pass Book. Going…Going…

Never thought I’d be complaining about signing the last 500 in a series of 2500 limited-edition books, but here I’m eating crow. Cody pulled together the funny little timelapse above, highlighting yours truly signing my last and final palette of Stevens Pass books at the warehouse. Can you say hand cramps? Big thanks to those of you who already nabbed a copy of my limited edition, self-published coffee table book in time for the holidays.

11×11 inches, 120 pages, hardback, $35. Earlier post here.

Just got word today that we’ve already plowed through close to 2000 of the edition of 2500 in the seven short weeks that they’ve been on sale. And also, just got word from Chris, the Director of Marketing at Stevens Pass that – for some cool but inexplicable reason – he’ll throw in 2 night skiing passes each for the next 50 people who buy the book.

Huh? That’s about $80 worth of lift tickets for buying a $35 book. Chris is a bad business person.

Oh well, it’s his money. So I guess that’s the deal. The next 50 people to throw down for the book will have the option of receiving two night skiing passes valid all year at Stevens Pass. Here’s how it works. If you buy the book here, and follow up by sending us an email to info at chasejarvis dot com with your name and address and “lift tickets” in the subject line, we’ll match your book sale with this email and mail you the lift passes immediately.

[Update: thanks for those out of towners who have asked to donate your tickets…SO generous. As such, we’ll be donating them to the Seattle Public Schools family support coordinators who will, in turn, find families in need and arrange for creating an opportunity to experience the outdoors free of charge… ]

Signed copies available at our micro-site here. If you’re a Seattle-ite they’re also available (unsigned) at all local area ski and snowboard shops, REI, as well as all the cool (read: non big box) retail book shops.

Hey!!! I feel that you need to write extra on this topic, it may not be a taboo subject however typically individuals are not brave enough to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers

David, you do not receive copies of the previous letters. As the letters go forward that quantity could possibly be in the hundreds. But if there’s a particular letter send us an email and maybe we can figure something out.
