Alrighty. Regardless of the fact that this A or B series (here, here, and here) has been really interesting for us, helpful, and popular with you (the last such post received over 1000 comments in 24 hours)…
This time it is of even greater interest for us. You see, we’re doing some image editing around here and we’ve stumbled into a little internal debate about which one of these two images is actually better, A or B. [You might remember these shots from the Nikon D7000 campaign…]
Hearing from you will help really help us. No qualifiers, don’t worry about our objectives, or the “assignment”. We want to know which one of these shots you like better. And please tell us in the comments below, not via twitter. Raw preference. Period. If you can add some “why”, that would be nice too. Full 600 pixel wide images after the jump. After you all weigh in, I’ll tell you which one I like, which one I thought you’d like, and why.

So which photo is better? A or B?
While I usually like darker and more colorful images, I have to go with B for this one. B seems to tell more of a story than than A. A just seems to be a model posing for a picture, more so than B.
B:) When comparing the 2, in A my curiosity goes to the background of what is going on with the van,who’s in it?! A does not give me what my curiosity is wanting. B I LOVE because I can see what A was not giving me and the color of the van pops which I love, and guys are now in my view and it just pulls the shot together for me, giving me that fab summer feel..HOT!
B. It’s all warm & fuzzy feeling. A is kinda cold.
B
I don’t like how A has the feet a bit cut off (for some reason it feels to me to be an “in-between” look, always has), and also that there is an obvious strong flash being used opposite the sun. While the flash allows for more detail and colour in the sky, I like how B is just more natural looking as far as pictures go. I also like the composition of B more.
B – it focuses more on the girl, A has too many distracting items in the image.
