Transform your business with Secrets from Silicon Valley.
This event is more than a year in the works, thousands of hours of work from some very talented people, and more than a few sleepless nights on my own part. We are opening our San Francisco based creativeLIVE studio TOMORROW and the very first broadcast is one you don’t want to miss. I’ll be hosting and it’s going to deliver a punch of insider, unprecedented information from some of the world’s smartest people.
Just as Hollywood implies celebrity, Silicon Valley is synonymous with creative innovation. Attracting the greatest business minds in the world, SV is the world’s startup epicenter. This broadcast offers you direct access to the pioneering minds behind this powerful community. Whether your business is just you or employs fifty people, you’ll learn how to survive, grow, and thrive directly from entrepreneurs who have done it. Do you want to learn from LinkedIn’s founder Reid Hoffman and ask about his secrets to success? Tim Ferriss? Guy Kawasaki? Chris Guillebeau? You’ll hear from them and many more. I know I’ve learned a thing or two from these people I call friends, but knowing what I know about how valuable their secrets have been, I would have given a limb to be able to ask them questions years ago.
If you win the contest below, you can attend in person, but even if you don’t win, you can still get the entire knowledge base by >>> RSVP’ing right here under ‘sign up’ <<<< and then tuning in live. Hello Mr. Ferris,
Five years ago I read The 4 Hour Work Week twice in two weeks, then I dropped out of The Universidad Catolica Argentina. Since then I have traveled a good chunk of the world and I have worked no more than eight months each year (although frequently 70 + hour weeks). Some of my jobs have been:
– Helping to create one of the first eco-lodges in Vietnam
– Substitute School Teaching ESL classes recent Mexican immigrants to New Mexico
– Production manager on an organic farm
– Teaching English summer camps in Italy
– Managing a bar / restaurant on the beach in Ururguay
– Working on Shania Twain’s ranch in New Zealand
– Starting a horse tour company
– And of course I have a couple small online businesses to help supplement my income.
Life has been really incredible so far and promises to continue to be so… Next week I am moving to the Canadian Rockies.
I would like to go to San Fran to thank you in person for the impact you have had on my life.
PS: So you don’t think I’m just kissing your @$$, the REAL reason I want to go is to meet and hang out with all these clever folks.
Thanks,
Tony
I literally have 5 minutes to come up with an award winning comment. I want to be involved in this project because I need to surround myself with people that are as passionate about business as I am.
I have dreams about how incredible my life would be if I could be like Tim Ferris and all the other great minds in SV. I want nothing more than to succeed and to help others do the same.
I am a Marine veteran, and in the past 2 yrs I have been developing a training program to hack the military’s physical fitness test. That’s what my product and my website is all about. As a side effect, the program is great for getting in shape.
Well, it looks like I am out of time… It would be a dream come true to meet my mentor in person.
I’m a 20 year old undergraduate student studying physics and astronomy, am not an entrepreneur, have never had an interest in starting a business, and want to spend the rest of my life tinkering with the subtleties of the universe. As such, I am a very poor choice for this contest.
I am, however, entering almost entirely on behalf of my friend, my coach, and my mentor, Steve Spalding, who has spent his life making other people’s lives better. He, unlike myself, has worked with start-ups. He has helped to ship apps, work with brilliant people, and at the same time come in to out university gym 3 days a week to coach fencing. We, his fencing students (and might I had 3-time National Champions!) look up to him as more than just an athletic coach, but as a role-model. He is a people person if you’ve ever met one. He has inspired us to be healthier and more active. He has taught us how to handle the stresses involved with college and entering a new phase of life. And he deserves this opportunity to learn from the best more than any man I have ever met.
And more than anything, I hope to surprise him with the news he can go. Because I feel I need to give back to him a fraction of that which he gives the world. And he would actually understand what you’re saying; myself, maybe not so much…I’ll stick to the lab.
I want to win this opportunity of a lifetime for those same reasons that invigorated your imagination: I believe in the impossible. Even when my body laid trapped within the walls of foster care or became weighed by the pain and poverty of my childhood, my mind’s gift elevate my spirit into the unknown, adventurous sky. That is how I entered the gates of an ivy league university. It is that energy, in which, even years later as I find refuge in another state with a strange I now call my Aunt, I hope to realize my dreams. Hands stretched higher than the day before, like a naively-excited 8 year–old asking a million questions about why the sky is blue, hoping one day to reach Heaven .I am an artist, yes.
I have two rules in life. #1 Leave the world a better place than it was when I got here. #2 Lead by example.
I have come a long way growing up in a single parent household, graduating from college with a degree in applied math and getting a job as a web analyst for a popular health and fitness company. I want to put myself in the best position possible to help the people around me and I believe in seizing every opportunity possible to get there. But I don’t want to be just another cog in some wheel… I have the ambition to lead the charge!
This is the opportunity to pick the minds of some of the worlds brightest people and there is no way I would ever pass up such a chance! I want to create a company or organization that truly affects positive change in the world. But I need help doing so. I am young and in need of mentors who believe that real change can happen!
If you would like to take a chance on an ambitious 24 year old with drive and passion, then I am your man!
-Shawn
