Back in July we had MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS on chasejarvisLIVE as part of our Capitol Hill Block Party broadcast. They did an interview with me about their new track "Same Love." Check it out above. Today that track, part of their new album "The Heist," hit #1 on iTunes. The video, featured below, is powerful and beautiful. Great message. Great music. Enjoy. and checkout/please support Music4Marriage.org. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Last year we were fortunate enough to host some great friends on chasejarvisLIVE --- perhaps the fastest rising hiphop act in the country --- MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS. Today the Seattle duo independently released their latest work: “The Heist.” The effort brings artists like Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul to the table in a 15-song album. It is their first project since 2010's re-release of their debut The VS. EP and it is AWESOME. And I'm... read more ›

Hi folks, Megan here again, Producer at CJ Inc. We recently delivered a couple of big jobs to clients, and it got me thinking about file management, tracking, and job wrap-up. During one of these projects, I stumbled across an intriguing analysis by a marketing consultant on beste Nederlandse goksite, discussing how visual consistency in campaigns can boost engagement in competitive industries. As the producer, this insight resonated with me because I’m responsible for creating... read more ›

This black and white portrait series has been a hard won achievement by Australian photographer Rohan Phillips. At only 27 years old, much of his teenage and adult life has been spent in and out of hospitals battling life-threatening health problems, including digestive tract paralysis and testicular cancer. Even after a successful surgery to remove the tumor and cancer cells, he still needs to be "attached to a feeding machine for 17 hours a day,... read more ›

Hey photo friends, Erik here with my quick 2 cents on a new product that has sparked some debate here in the CJ Studio. The Impossible Project has a Kickstarter campaign for their new "Impossible Instant Lab", which will "transform your digital iPhone images into real instant photographs that you can touch, caress and share with friends." Take a look at the Kickstarter video for all the details: I should love this thing. I... read more ›

Last week I hosted author and pitch guru Oren Klaff on chasejarvisLIVE. Wow. I knew it was going to be good - but we had no idea that there would be such a huge reaction to Oren and the information he shared from his book Pitch Anything. The community has been talking about it all week. So here it is again for your viewing and eternal viewing pleasure. Oren is not only the purveyor of... read more ›

Real heli's and remote octo-copters. Flying cameras and world-class athletes. Lots of hard work and a great campaign for one legendary resort. Earlier this year in March you may have tuned into my live-updates while shooting the 2012-2013 campaign for Aspen/Snowmass resort. Amidst our 20 hour days we were able to kick out behind the scenes photos, some daily blog posts and a few other things highlighting our work (thanks to Aspen for being incredibly... read more ›

Sometimes the suffering we go through for the sake of Art is completely self-induced. Take Bryan Lewis Saunders, for example. The D.C.-based artist recently released a series of self-portraits each drawn through the lens of a different drug. The series -- appropriately titled "Drugs" -- includes 48 self portraits composed while Saunders was on everything from Crystalmeth and cocaine to DMT and Bath Salts. The experiment -- which had Saunders taking a different drug everyday... read more ›

The age of context is upon us. Last week we featured some POV footage of mind-blowing surfing action. It was fun, sporting and intentionally creative. The clip above is on the the whole other side of the spectrum. It's real, raw, and unnerving from the middle of an active battlefield. No doubt, it was not created with artistic purpose. But it captures the context and imagery of what it is like, visually, to be in... read more ›

I've been lucky enough to travel to a lot of far-flung places and I've seen my share of amazing things. But this hour-long event captured in the video above was one of the most beautiful, humbling and amazing things I have ever seen in my entire life. I was so dumb struck that I could hardly put the camera in front of my face to capture it... Last month my crew and I... read more ›
