Hey there photo nerds. We’re all in this together and today Canon just added more fuel to the HdDSLR fire – the much-anticipated Canon 5D MK III is here. They made some interesting choices on pixel count, recording modes, etc. So let’s review the skinny of it all.
Here’s some highlighted specs:

The curve balls for the people I’m talking to? The no 1080 at 60p. Please note I HAVE NOT touched one of these cameras – unlike Nikon, Canon doesn’t trust me with a 10-foot pole and I get no advance copies of these cameras.

Now, not unlike what I’ve done with the recent launch of the Nikon D800 and Nikon D4…rather than me spouting off about having played with the system or telling you what your feelings about this system should be, I’m turning the tables back to you. This forum proves that no matter what features a camera has, people on the internet will wish it had a feature that it does not.
Seems like a more or less solid camera.
The 5D3 is simply a 5D2 with all the bugs fixed.
Oh and that amazing 1DX AF system that has gone far beyond what was needed to fix it in the 5D2.
Will i get one? Hell yes – as soon as my budget allows – 2 5D2’s or 1 5D3 – difficult choice 🙂
Seriously priced DSLR ….. coz the buyers are ready to pay for it…….
what a drastic difference between the Mark 2 and 3 ……
yes it can do little better autofocus and High fps which is 6 …..

I was lucky and i put my hands on new MkIII.
I am not impressed so much that I would change my MKII instantly. Canon make some good improvements in video, ISO and finaly we have 100% preview at one button.
